The Rode NTG2 brings you a high-quality and lightweight shotgun-style condenser microphone. Designed specifically for professional applications within the film, tv and production industries. Similar to the Rode NTG1 but with an additional and highly notable feature; allowing you to power your microphone with AA batteries. A great feature if you’re on-location recording, or as a back up just in case your phantom power fails. Additionally, the combination of its full frequency response, lightweight design, and rugged build make the Rode NTG2 the perfect choice for your professional applications. Plus, you can also mount the NTG2 to a standard boom so you have even more flexibility.
Furthermore, with a native 20Hz-20kHz frequency response and selectable high-pass filter at 80Hz available. Your NTG2 microphone will prevent low-end noise leaking through into your recordings. Operating from either a single AA battery or P48 Phantom power which can be supplied through professional cameras, recorders and power supplies.
Included with your NTG2 is a WSVM windshield. Perfect for minimizing wind noise and plosives during recording, especially in outdoor applications.
