Description
Designed with low-end professor and tone connoisseur Ian Martin Allison, the MXR Bass Synth is a powerhouse of a pedal offers thunderous sub-octave, expressive envelope, and lush modulation effects with killer tracking and sustain—plus all the features you need to shape every detail of your tone.
This pedal requires a 9-volt (330 mA) centre-negative power supply and can be powered by the Dunlop ECB003 9-volt adapter or the MXR Iso-Brick, the Iso-Brick Pro, and the Iso-Brick Mini Power Supplies. This pedal cannot be powered by a battery.
FEATURES
- Produces vintage-inspired monophonic synth sounds, allowing for a variety of classic and modern textures.
- Choose from triangle, saw, and square waveforms to shape the fundamental tone of your synth sound.
- Adds a low-frequency sub-octave voice, similar to a sub-oscillator, to beef up the sound.
- Voice Button adds another layer by introducing a second, harmonically tuned oscillator for a fuller, more complex sound.
- Mimics the classic ADSR envelope on traditional synths for shaping the attack and decay of the sound.
Cutoff and Resonance: - Standard synthesizer controls to shape the filter's frequency range and add a "squawk" or vocal quality to the tone.
- Modulation Control introduces a wobble or warble effect, akin to an LFO, for a dynamic and swirling sound.
- Mix Knob to blend the amount of the dry (unprocessed) signal with the wet (synthesized) signal.
- Eight Presets to store and recall eight ready-to-play synth patches, allowing for quick access to favorite sounds.
- Expression pedal compatibility for external control and real-time manipulation of the pedal's parameters.
- Full stereo output for a wide and immersive sound.
