Description
The Pelt Fuzz V2 is Fender's silicon-transistor fuzz pedal engineered for professional saturation control and buffer-friendly operation. It covers octave fuzz through to harmonic gain walls, with traditional Fuzz, Tone and Level controls augmented by Sag and Bloom parameters that shape exactly how the signal breaks into distortion. Mids and Thick switches provide instant EQ shaping for midrange and bass frequency presence, pushing the pedal into distinct fuzz characters without external processing.
The Octave footswitch adds traditional octave-up tones, while Chaos mode introduces asymmetrical octave generation for glitchy, sputtering artifacts and unpredictable harmonic content. A Blend control mixes fuzzed and clean signals – particularly useful for bass guitar – or combines the fuzz with drive tones from pedals earlier in the signal chain. Both buffered and true bypass modes are switchable, and the footswitches support momentary and latching activation via multiswitch operation.
