Description
The Pearl NP-69/2 is a 2-pack of plastic cymbal tilter sleeves used to protect cymbals from damage. They are slipped over the 8mm threaded metal post of a cymbal stand to achieve the following:
- Prevent Metal-on-Metal Contact: Creates a physical barrier so the center hole of the cymbal doesn't rub against the metal of the stand
- Protect from Keyholing: Prevents the friction that causes "keyholing," which is a tear or wearing down of the cymbal's center hole that ruins its value and structure
- Optimize Sound: Ensures the cymbal vibrates freely for optimal sound quality and resonance
