Description
This wonderful example of a 5-String Warwick Thumb bass. Lovingly crafted in Germany, these bass guitars are revered by players all over the world for their signature growl and punch. This particular instrument has a wenge neck and fingerboard, bolted to an ovankol body - this combination represents a transitional period for Warwick DE, where they changed the neck material from ovankol. The body is beautifully contoured and finished in timeless, natural stain oil. Equipped with MEC active electronics, 2-piece bridge and Warwick's patented "Just-A-Nut", this bass is ready to take your performance to the next level.
Cosmetically, this instrument is in very good condition. Some light play wear and oxidation of unsealed metal parts but otherwise presents clean. Frets outstanding - maybe 70-80% life remaining. Note: more images will be available very soon!
